                                          The End of Norrath

Dark clouds circled around the forest of Greater Faydark, the Serpent's
Spine river of Rivervale had its shores beginning to expand, eveloping the
nearby countryside, and Erudin's pearl city began to smudge of a dark rusted
brown, and this would be the way the world ends. No spellcaster of any kind
could have fortold the horrors that stood at bay for Norrath, but with this
end many truths would be revealed...

Many people of Norrath worshipped Gods, and all of those people even
though worshipping another God still believed in the others. What very few
people knew was that most of the Gods were just fables of imagination...
There was no God of the Tribunal, nor was there a God of Mithaniel,
Erollisi, Rallos Zek, Brell, Veeshan, or Prexus. In reality, only Tunare,
Solusek & Fennin Ro, Cazic Thule, Innoruuk, and Bristlebane existed. Very
Few people knew this in fact, and the news of this disturbed many people of
Norrath. Cities began crusades against one another openly to prove the
existence of their Gods, and because of this Kaladim and Steamfont waged war
with Kelethin and Felwithe, the Eastern Coast of Antonica waged war with the
sole Neriak, Oggok and Grobb battled Rivervale and High Keep, while Erudin
and its nearby dark city bretheren battled. Although some humans took sides,
almost no direct conflict included humans, as it seemed they were almost at
no grief of knowing that some Gods didn't exist. The battles lasted months,
until the Gods stepped in the way...
Cazic Thule himself enraged at the attacking of his Ogres and Trolls decided
to visit the Karanas, killing many many mortals... Innoruuk also decided a
personal attack would add to the fear of himself, so he decided the
Commonlands would be fit for his killing... Tunare herself was scared that
the Elves of Faydwear may become overpowered, and visited Butcherblock
Mountains, only warning the Dwarves that any more warring would cost them
their lives, and by doing so the Dwarves became even madder, killing more
and more Elves... Solusek, Fennin, and Bristlebane however decided direct
conflict was not needed as they really did not have following races...

The meeting of the Greater Guild of War and Wizardry on the last
Saturday of December of that year would be their last ...
Cherrie says, with a seemingly different appearence in her eyes "Fellow
guild members, in this time of distress we must not battle one another ...
some guild members have already fallen in battle."
"Who?" Cecilia asked at the same time as her twin sister Cyrilla.
"I'm sorry to have to tell you... but Falgoryn and Rallitar were taken
by there god Innoruuk for working alongside followers of other races ...
they are probably somewhere in the Plane of Hate experien..." Cherrie began
to cry at the thought of fellow guild members dying.
"Don't cry Cherrie," said Keawen, "I'm sure that them being such great
people will allow them to ... well I don't know but there going to be good
knowing we care for them..."
"It's not fair... Kkan the man I loved has been taken too, so has
Palandrus a former member and close friend, Laaer a strong ranger of the
woods, and Kenion..." Cherrie crys, knowing know that Falgoryn may know of
her love of Kkan, but she still felt kinship to Falgoryn also...
"What happened to those members, I don't mean to sadden you more but..."
said Motlen.
"I understand" said Cherrie still somewhat crying,"Palandrus was murderd
while sleeping... a spellcasting gnome chocked him in his sleep while the
spellcasters pet... Kenion was slain by 2 wood elves, one supposidly shot
him in the back with arrows while the other slit his... Kkan and Laaer
dissapeared while in the Karanas, we think that Cazic Thule might have..."

Later that month... "I can't bear this warring" Cyrilla said to her
sister," It makes me want to die also I just..."
"Don't you ever say that..." said Cecilia, "Your all I have know since
Caiyar left the guild, thinking I didn't love him but he knew I did..."
    "I just can't bear it..."
Later that night... "Cecilia no!" Cyrilla screamed. "Don't please I, I,
I, I'll do anything please don't..." her voice was cut short. Cecilia had
thought that never her sister would say such a thing and decided that
murdering this imposter was best.

Cherrie stood in Kelethin watching as the wind blew fires and blood
stained grass away from the once beautiful Greater Faydark. Behind her she
heard a figure walking closer, and she turned around to see none other
than... Laaer. "Oh my god!" Cherrie said with a stunned voice. "How...wait
what..." she managed to stutter.
"I came to see you..." Laaer said with a strong voice. His appearence
had changed, he seemed stronger, but also less carring as if he had killed
someone."I needed to tell you someting before I left to fight Innoruuk as
Tunare has told I and some other fellow Champions of Tunare to do..."
"What do you need to tell me? That I cried and sobbed for nothing? That
you abandoned your Guild just to do this? Your friends?" she said almost
angrily but still suprised, and then tears began to flow.
"I have come to tell you that not Innorruk took Falgoryn and Rallitar,
but I did... They had become corrupted by the war and I decided it best to
kill them both as to not allow the Guild to be injured by them... or you..."
"What? You killed my husband? How... could you, you slimy dirty
bastard?" she said glaring at Laaer.
"I have changed too thats how... I hope you forgive me Cherrie... also
Kkan wanted me to give you this message before he died..."I love you and
will always love you..." Now I must go, please forgive me..."
"Goodbye..." Cherrie said, then began to cry once again...
As she surveyed the fields of Greater Norrath, she thought about death,
and how that would be better than this Hell anyday... but she knew she had a
mission.. a mission to continue the Greater Guild of War and Wizardry for
eternity...
